• 양치류를 뜻하는 프랑스어, 숲의 향기, 숲속 식물의 신선하고 깊이 있는 향
• 1882년 boubigant(우비강)의 fougere royals에서 유래
• 처음엔 여성 type -> 지금은 남성

• 젊은 풍, 깔끔, 깨끗, bisuniss 적 느낌, 신선, 가볍, casual한 느낌
• lime, tangerin, lemon grass가 남성적 citrus

용어

• camphoraceous - 강하게 올라오는 camphor(장뇌) 향, 시원, 화한 느낌,
  ex) 로즈마리, 라벤더, 유칼립투스 (버물리)
• herbaceous - 신선한 허브향
• coniferous - 소나무, 전나무같은 침엽수에서 느껴지는 느낌, 주로 목욕제품, 남성향수 (솔의눈)
