What are Language Standards? Do they matter?
Languages don't stay the same - they evolve over time
ANSI C - 1990
C99 - 1999
C11 - 2011
etc...
Even through version change, backwards compatability is considered.
In the case of Python, it has been maintaining two languages, 2.7 and 3.
