While vs When vs As

둘 이상이 동시에 일어난다고 말하고 싶을 때 'when', 'while' 또는 'as'를 쓸 수 있어요.

내가 개를 산책시키는 동안 비가 오기 시작했어.

As(특정 순간 또는 계속되는 행위)
내가 문을 열자 고양이가 뛰쳐나갔어. 그는 글을 읽다가 잠이 들었어.

• As soon as he finished school, he started a job
• As soon as it started to rain, we went inside.
• As I was revising for the test, I finally understood the meaning of "routine".

When(특정 순간)
그녀가 방에 들어갔을 때 전화가 울렸어.

• When she entered the room, her phone rang.
