1. 작으면 작을수록: the smaller, the better

• 작을 수록 들고 다니기는 편한데, 꼭 작은게 좋다는 건 아냐.
  왜냐면 작을 수록 많이 들고 다니지 못하거든.
  The smaller it is, the easier it is to carry around.
But that doesn't necessarily mean the smaller the best.
Because the smaller it is, the less stuff you can carry in it.

• 기능이 많을수록 좋다
  The more functions it has, the better it is.
The more functions there are, the better it is.
The more the functions the better.

• 사람이 많을수록 좋아.
  The more the people, the better.
The more people there are, the better it is.

• 거기에 일찍 도착할 수록 준비할 시간이 많아지니까 이를수록 좋은거 같아.
  The earlier we get(arrive) there, the more time we'll have to prepare. So I think the earlier the better.

• 너가 지금 일을 더 많이 끝내 놓을수록, 나중에 (너가) 할 일이 더 줄어들어.
  The more work you finish(do) now, the less there'll be (for you) to do later.

2. 하면 할수록: each time / every time

• 하면 할수록 (조금씩) 감이 더 오는 것 같아. (능력 향상의 개념)
  I feel like I'm getting better at it every(each) time I do it(try it)

• I feel like: 내 인상에 대한 묘사라는 것을 드러낼 수 있다
  I feel like I'm getting better at it every time I try it.
I feel like I'm getting better at it every time I do it.
I feel like I'm getting better at it every time.
I feel like I'm getting better at it each time.
I feel like I'm getting better at it each time I try it.
I feel like I'm getting better at it each time I do it.

• 보면 볼수록, 더 감이 잘 오는 것 같아 (이해의 관점에서)
  I feel like I can understand it better each time I see it.
I feel like I can understand it better each time I read it.
I feel like I can understand it better each time I watch it.
I feel like I can understand it a little better each time I see it.

3. 시간이 지날수록: as time goes by

• 시간이 지날수록 나아질거야.
  As time goes by, it's going to get better.
It's going to get better as time goes by.

• 경험이 더 쌓일수록 쉬워질거야
  As you gain more experience, it's going to get eaiser.
It's going to get easier as you gain more experience.

4. 이야기가 진행될수록: as the story progresses

• continue도 사용할 수 있지만, 진행을 나타내기 위해서 progress를 쓰는 게 좋다.

• As the story progresses, it becomes more and more complicated.

5. 끝에 갈수록, 뒤로 갈수록: as I got closer

• As I got closer to the end, it became(got) more difficult.
• Towards the end, it became more difficult.
Towards the end를 하나의 숙어처럼 많이 사용한다. 의미는 끝으로 갈 수록(as I got closer to the end 와 동일)

※ 나이가 들수록: As I get older

6. 갈수록: it's becoming

• 구체적인 묘사 없이 가장 간편하게 쓸 수 있는 표현

• The story is becoming a little strange.

• 갈수록 어려워지는 것 같아.
  I feel like it's becoming more and more difficult.
